Historical Background:
Operation Tempest - Lublin district - July, 1944, Operation Tempest in the area of Lublin took place in the final two weeks of July 1944. The Armia Krajowa created mainly infantry divisions with support of Polish dragoon units. Altogether, Polish forces in the region had called 20.000 men to arms. Due to the advancing Russians, Generaloberst Georg-Hans Reinhardt retreated his forces to regroup them. The partisans attacked the retreating German forces along railways and roads in the whole district of Lublin. In the south the 9th Infantry Regiment under Major Stanislaw Prus liberated the towns of Belzec & Tomaszów Lubelski and attacked the traffic intersection in the city of Zwierzyniec.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Setup Photo:
I want to test my new battlemaps and I began with Lublin District
For the first game I took axis side and my opponent took allies. Allies started with an attack in their right flank but an axis close assault destroy one polish resistance unit and made the score 2-0. Allies attacked in their left flank and score two medals but with very high losses. Axis then left the town of Zwierzyniec and started an attack in their left flank. Allies tried to fight back and destroy one panzergrenadier unit but then axis scored one medal and won the game at the score of 6-3.
End Photo:
The second game (in which we we changed side) was faster. Polish resistance had the best dice rolls and axis had very poor dice. Allies took Zwierzyniec after a fierce fight for the church and won the game at the score of 6-2.
End Photo:
Zwierzyniec secured!
Conclusion: A very good scenario Polish resistance must not stay in open ground or else they will be destroyed by German tanks.
