Isneauville Junction

Historical Background:
The British army was putting up strong resistance in France while the B.E.F. (British Expeditionary Force) was being evacuated at Dunkirk. Another such resistance took place near Isneauville Junction, where once again an ad-hoc force of British rifle squads armed with HC Boys anti-tank rifles and mortars were attacked by elements of the 5th Panzer Division. The Germans made a frontal attack, leading with their tanks, but a strong British anti-tank gun position along with wire and mines helped slow the Panzers attack. The British, after destroying a number of tanks, pulled back during the night.

The second game from NFP expansion was a great experience for both of us. I began the first game as an axis general while my opponent played the role of a British general. Axis started with a Firefight and weak 2 allied units but an allied Carpet Bombing with allied anti-tank units destroyed 1 armor units and reduce another two units down to one figure. But an axis Air Ace saved the day downing the bomber unit.

After this air victory axis retook the control of the situation and even if they lost 2 units due to an allied lucky fighter-bomber they on the game at the score of 5-3.

An allied bomber unit is down.

For the second game we changed sides and began the battle. Axis started an assault with air support but allies lunched some air attacks too and scored 2 medals. Axis tried desperately to destroy some units but the luck was on the allied side and they ,with a great air support, won the game at the score of 5-3.

Conclusion: A great scenario and in this scenario as axis you must be careful at enemy jabos and attack enemy anti-tank units with their planes and after that they sent their tanks forward in order to get some medals or exit some units.
If you played this scenario please share your experience.
