3D Print For M44

Question for 3d printer posessors: Can I use a 3d Printer to make m44 soldiers, tanks or artillery? Or can I use them for m44 NFP aircrafts? Because I want to buy a 3D printer and I want to know these things.

Yes, you can print figurines, but a lot depends on which printer you want to buy. For figurines of this size, an SLA printer will be the best choice. You can also use an FDM printer, but it will require more effort. You should ask yourself what else you want to print, because buying a printer just to print a few small figurines doesn’t make much sense.

Welcome to the forum @Frank_Forsyth! Thank you for the reply. I’ve already bought a Creality CR 10 SE and it’s perfect for my needs.

Even my daughter’s little Toybox printer can do armor okay at the right scale in PLA. I’ve used designs from this person to print flame tanks, French armor, Italian armor, extra supply trucks, half tracks, armored cars, etc. https://www.thingiverse.com/m_bergman/designs

The 1/200 scale tanks are pretty close in size though you may need to adjust slightly. I do have more success combining the turret and base together pre-print and printing horizontally with PLA on the crappy printer rather than vertically like he suggests. I use TinkerCAD to manipulate them and cut a section out of the bottom of the tank so that it’ll fit the movement trays I’ve printed.

Infantry you’d need something better, and I’m assuming ideally resin.
