I got into M’44 during Covid as a new miniature painting hobby and for learning more about WW2, as my dad (died in '96) was a driver in British 8th Army from 1939-1946. He was in North Africa then Sicily and Italy and finally Austria.
Promised myself the base game would be plenty - but of course it wasn’t! Now have Terrain Pack, Mediterranean, Winter Wars and just recently bought the Breakthrough boards.
I love painting the minis so after finishing the base game I’ve moved on to more authentic 1/72 scale troops from Caesar, Revell, Italeri, Mars and Airfix.
I always wonder if there are any other ladies out there who enjoy M’44?
